Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well.
About Us
Our History
The message of the Lord’s calling is not something new and most importantly, how Christ’s Gospel Church was founded is a tale that needs to be told. In 1989 living life as an ordinary man, the Lord appeared to Bishop Mark Williams in the vision and said, “Mark, take my word to my people”.
With this divine intervention served as his motivation to start a church. Starting from Brixton, London Bishop Mark began preaching on the streets, gathering the converts and founded a house fellowship which has since become known as Christ’s Gospel Church.
From this humble beginning, this calling has led him on a journey that has brought more than just one branch church into fruition. There are now branches at London, Gillingham as well as three churches over in Ghana- West Africa!
The name of the church, Christ’s Gospel, was taken from 2Corinthians 2:12. Bishop Mark’s world-wide ministry is evident in his efforts to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He has traveled all over, preaching and teaching the Word that he himself so fervently believes in. His spirit for evangelism was not only shown through words but also by raising up men and women who have gone on to serve God with their entire being; from America to Europe or Africa, Bishop Mark never ceases spreading an inspiring message about hope found mainly within our Lord’s teachings

Our Vision
The vision of our church is to raise men and women, equip them with the word of God so they can go out into this lost world for His glory.
Our Beliefs
- We believe in the ONE true GOD as the Creator of heaven and earth. We believe in the unity of the One True and Living God who is the Eternal, Self-Existent “I AM”, Who has also revealed Himself as One being co-existing in three Persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
- We believe that the Bible (i.e., the Old and New Testaments), is the inspired Word of God; it is infallible, all sufficient rule for faith and practice.
- We believe in the virgin birth, sinless life, miraculous ministry, substitutionary atoning death, bodily resurrection, triumphant ascension, and abiding intercession of the Lord Jesus Christ.
- Salvation Through Jesus Christ : Salvation is deliverance from spiritual death and enslavement by sin. God provides salvation for all who believe and accept His free offer of forgiveness. Mankind’s only hope of redemption from the fallen sinful state is through the shed blood of His son, Jesus Christ, when He died on the cross of Calvary. This experience is also known as the new birth and is the work of the Holy Spirit upon initial faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Matthew (chapter 27), Mark (chapter 15), Luke (chapter 23), and John (chapter 19).
- Baptism in the Holy Spirit: According to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ, all believers are entitled to receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit. Believers should, therefore, expect and earnestly seek the promise of the Father – The Holy Spirit. This was the normal experience of all believers in the early Christian church. With the experience comes the provision of power for victorious Christian living and productive service. It also provides believers with specific spiritual gifts for more effective ministry. The baptism of Christians in the Holy Spirit is accompanied by the initial physical sign of speaking in other tongues (unlearned languages) as the Spirit of God gives them audible expression. (Luke 24:49; Acts 1:4,8; 2:4; 8:12-17; 10:44-46; 11:14-16; 15:7-9; 1 Cor. 12:1-31)
- Divine Healing : Divine healing is a fundamental and central part of the gospel. God cares about mankind’s physical and mental well-being. Deliverance from sickness is provided for in the atonement and is the privilege of all believers. (Isa. 53:4,5; Matt. 8:16,17; James 5:14-16)
- The Second Coming of Christ: We believe in the personal, visible, bodily return of Jesus Christ in power and glory and will take believers to be with Him forever. We believe in the bodily resurrection of all men, the everlasting conscious bliss of all who truly believe in our Lord Jesus Christ and the everlasting conscious punishment of all whose names are not written in the Book of Life. Christians of all ages will live with God forever. This is referred to as “the blessed hope”. (Romans 8:23; 1 Corinthians 15:51-52; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Titus 2:13)
- The Great Commission: Jesus commanded all Christians to evangelise the world. “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you” (Matt 28:16-20)
- We believe that all who have truly repented and believed in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour are commanded to be baptised by immersion in water.
- We believe in holiness of life and conduct in obedience to the command of God.
- We believe that all who have truly repented and believe in Christ as Lord and Saviour should regularly participate in fellowshipping and Breaking of Bread.
- We support humanity with our gifts: We believe that everything we have is a gift from God and their purpose is to serve Him and other people, and that we are accountable to God for these. Love is the bedrock on which we live our lives (words and actions) – Love for God and love for people.
